The 5-Minute Post-Workout Recovery Routine

Aug 2
1 min read

You don't need an hour and a full recovery suite to bounce back after a workout. Here's a 5-minute routine that hits every major muscle group and gets you back to training faster.

Minute 1: Neck and shoulders. Use a cordless neck and shoulder massager on a low setting. Let the kneading work out the tension from your traps and upper back. Don't force it — just let the device do the work.

Minute 2: Lower back. Wrap on a heated back belt at medium heat. The combination of warmth and vibration increases blood flow to your lower back, which is where most people carry their tension.

Minute 3: Legs. Step on an EMS foot massager pad. The electrical stimulation boosts circulation in your feet and calves, reducing the heavy-leg feeling after squats or running.

Minute 4: Targeted knots. Use a vibrating massage ball on any specific spot that's tight — usually hips, glutes, or between the shoulder blades. 60 seconds per spot, moderate vibration.

Minute 5: Eyes. Yeah, seriously. Eye strain from screens carries tension into your neck and shoulders. A heated eye massager for 60 seconds resets your nervous system and signals your body that the workout is over.

Five minutes, five tools, full-body recovery. Try it after your next session.
